We did a combo of bday and Father's Day this weekend because we've got a packed schedule for the next couple of weeks. It was fun except that Daniel's sick again. We were all supposed to go see Toy Story 3 also, but I had to stay home with D. Some friends took our tickets and went with Ben and dh.
Ben starts his first summer camp bright and early in the morning, so I won't be here in the morning hours for the next couple of weeks. We're taking time off from school, but we might do a little here and there (especially Latin... he's itching to get back to it because we took a couple days off from it last week. )
Tuesday is a dentist appt for Ben. Wed is occupational therapy & church. Thursday is library. Friday thru Sun is our youth lectureship series at church. Saturday morning is a Christian homeschooling workshop for me.
We had a great weekend! Saturday the in laws came over and we had a bbq, they stayed at our house from 3 til 11 last night, we all had a good time. Today we are hanging out around the house with dh. He opened presents from me and the kids and of course had pizza (his favorite!).
We are starting our very FIRST day of HSing tomorrow and the kids are very excited! At some point tomorrow I will also be taking the kids to the library. Wednesday we are taking my dad out for dinner for a late Father's Day, he wants to go to Peter Piper Pizza, the kids will enjoy that for sure! Other than school this week and figuring all of it out we will be unpacking boxes from our move that was TWO months ago! Will it ever end??

I had a great weekend. kids loved Toy story 3... I had 2 nights away from the house, girls nights out!
This week is pretty normal. Monday is achievement testing for the kids. I also need to get started on all of my paperwork to turn in by the end of July. It takes so long to do outlines, etc....
besides that, nothing school related
stay at home, homeschooling momma to Jacob(12), Alisha(10), Andrew (5)
Dans been recooping from his liver biopsy.
Should get those results tomorrow and then go from there.
We will be moving in a couple weeks to stay with my mother for a while. We have no income now that unemployment is a bust(thank you Congress) and jobs are a bust at every turn so we have no real options.
So, I may be offline for a bit in July.
~My thanks to *Kiliki* for the siggy and Lucy S for the blinkies~
We had the recital.. 6 busy busy days.. we saw Toy Story 3..LOVED it.. now this week we are laying low. I have 2 kids at friends all day ( Noah and Declan) and 2 teenagers coming over today to spend the day entertaining Taejan and Ziah. I have a LOT of stuff to catch up on around here from the last few weeks of working a ton, and then the recital. I plan to just attack my house. My plan is to get back to a more structured sched of schooling next week so I have to get myself ready for that... we do have a ton of karate because they have to make up all the classes they missed last week..we weren't at the dojo all week..that's a LOT of classes to make up between the 4 kids..

We had a good Father's day and weekend. We took the boys to see "Toy Story 3" on Friday night. We loved the movie. It made me remember the toys of my childhood (Mrs. Beasley). We took some snacks in a backpack to the movie but hubby still bought some food and drinks. I could not believe that a large soda was $6 and an order of nachos was also $6.
My older sister D and her family left this morning for Lousiana to attend a youth conference with their church. The boys miss their cousins already.
