Where is your school room? Right now my dining room is under construction to be a dual purpose room... obviously a dining room AND a school room LoL. Luckily I'm not trying to make it into Better Homes and Gardens or they'd be really confused and turned off by my decor choices It's coming along, I'm so excited about it. Last night Taylor said, "Mommy! I love my school room, I want to sleep in here!". I sure hope her enthusiasm stays intact LoL

Our school room is our dining room too. We haven't done too much. We have hung up maps we will need for next year and a president poster and a dry erase board. WE also have a large bookcase for our books and I am hoping to get a small shelf or plastic drawer unit for some other items. We did a school room once and it felt too "schooly" for us. Plus, I like to be in a more central location so I can get other stuff done too!

It used to be my son's bedroom and my bedroom (things kinda everywhere through the house, really). We moved in April, so now we have one bedroom dedicated to school ... lots of bookshelves, couple of supply cabinets, couple of desks, etc.

We have a sunroom off the kitchen and that is the schoolroom. We have so much stuff because of 4 kids we need a whole room really. it works great because they each have their own area and all our supplies are there AND it's right off the main living area's so they and I don't feel boxed in. Oh and the room is 3 walls of windows..hard to feel anything but awesome in that room!

We are in the dining room as well, but its big enough that we have a desk for both kids in there and I have a cabinet in there for the books we are currently using. In the living room there is a large built in bookcase that I have all their readers and extras on.

We are converting our formal dining area into a school area. I still have to get a bookcase for it. It isn't really anything fancy but it'll do for now.

I wish I could have a dedicated room, but alas I can't. So there is a table and most of the educational posters in the playroom, posters in the dining room, and the shelves with all the books in my room.

I use my big kitchen/dining room. I just move my table, move in 2 desks and a chalkboard, and hang a few things up during the school year. I have extra kitchen cabinets that I use to store supplies. I put a cubbie cabinet on the counter and that is my tm area, etc...

My daughter has this neat bunk bed ,the back of it has a storage area...so what I did was pulled it away from the wall a several feet and put her table there, computer ,ect and used the storage area as a bench seat.....
It has worked out well ,My daughter loves her "seceret" school room

We have our office as our schoolroom. We have a white board, a small table, bookshelf and then just our desk with the computer on it in there.

It will be the kitchen table I believe.

We are in a situation where we are living with my mother in her small townhome. In about a week or less we will be moving in with my brother in law while my husband deals with chemo sessions.

So we will use the table they have in the kitchen and perhaps(when doable)use the table outside.

I do believe every room has school stuff in it... I just hung massive posters in my hallway and living room of the continents and the 50 states.
