Does anyone else use Sonlight? I'm using it for the first time with my year old. I am using strictly Sonlight. This is my first year homeschooling so I don't really know the ropes yet!

We started school yesterday and so far so good... my son really enjoyed himself and so did I.

I haven't used it as my complete curriculum, but I've ordered a few things individually. It's a very popular choice!

I used core 3. My son blew through the reading with the help of him and his dad reading a book every other night. So we decided It's to expensive to go at that rate. We now use there lists as a reading list along with stories from the library. I really liked it and hope you enjoy your first year.

This is one I'm considering for preschool as well. Does anyone else know anything about it?

We will be using Core 3 this year. This is our first year using it but I love the idea of using real literature to teach history and reading. We are doing the core, language arts and science. I also like the idea of it being laid out for me as I can become lazy and not get everything that I want to get done. I already read the first book to myself to see if it will work and I loved it! Even DD6 is excited!

That's what we did- Core 1+2. We loved it! I altered a couple of things and didn't use their science or math. But still I feel it was one of our best years. :-)

Have fun with it!

I have never used it or seen any of it for myself. I do know that a lot of people use it though.
