Look around at your area and circle of friends. Do you think there are more boys or girls? I saw the thread about having several 3 year old girls here, but my local HS groups is almost entirely made up of boys! What do you think?

Among my circle of friends we have more boys about 2:1. However, of those who homeschool it is pretty much even numbers of boys and girls, so I guess that would mean more girls are homeschooled by percentages. Not in my house, though. We're 3:1 lol

I don't know may homeschoolers in our area, but the few I do know are split pretty even. It just happens though that they had an even number of boys and girls in their families and they homeschool all of their kids.

Don't have any friends or a "circle" or anything like that. We're hermits

But when we went for state testing not long ago, it was a pretty even mix. I don't honestly think it's more popular for one gender or the other. Depends on what gender kids folks have, I guess.

Here it is def more boys.. we probably have a 2 : 1 ratio ( of course in my house it's a 3:1..lol) in our HSing group.. those families I know that only HS one or two of their kids it's usually just their boys..

I think it is a pretty even mix here as well, maybe slightly more here for boys but not by much.
