We lived just an hour away from there up until 6 months ago when we moved to South Carolina. Our friends and families still live in the area. My cousin lost her apartment and worked at the hospital that was destroyed. The only thing they can all really tell us about it all is that the destruction is just mind blowing. Apparently just being there puts you into a state of shock. I still can't believe it to look at the pictures.

Such a devastating disaster. I have several friends in MO and luckily all are ok. My heart goes out to all of the people of Joplin!

We have friends in the area as well. It is just mind blowing the destruction that has occurred there and the destructive storms that are happening all over as well.
