My girls school strongly encourages daily math practice over the summer but we haven't been very good about keeping up with it lately. They recomend either using IXL.com or these Evan Moor workbooks.
Kayla seems bored with IXL and I'd like to have something we can use while we're traveling in July and may or may not have internet access.
So I'm wondering what you all think. Has anyone used these books before? Are they worth the money? Some of the reviews on Amazon say the math books are too easy so I'm wondering if I should go up a grade. I'm also looking at the preschool/Kindergarten level books for Ellie. I'd love to get your opinions.
I like EM workbooks, but I'd look at them before buying. You might need to adjust the grade level, yes. I also like Spectrum for summer work. Both are reasonably priced. Do you have a Mardel's near you? They usually have both in stock that you could look at and not have to pay shipping.
