I was wondering if anyone knows if there are Bible courses/programs for early learning? I have a four-year-old (not yet, but will be in the school year) who will be learning to read and beginning math, and I would like to add a Bible course that goes into a little more depth than reading her Bible with her. Does anyone know of something like this? Thanks!

You may be able to use some of the link below (most are free). I also recommend "Rainbow Lessons" by Jane Britnell (two year curriculum... one book for OT and one for NT). You'll have to google that one. It's pretty hard to find. Only a few smaller Bible bookstores carry it. I think one called "Nanette's" in Alabama has it.

- Children's Bible Lessons (these two go together)
- Bible Slideshows

- Character

- New Testament Take-Home Bible Stories: Easy-to-Make, Reproducible Mini-Books That Children Can Make & Keep!, Preschool-Grade 2: Thomas c. Ewald: 9780887248726: Christianbook.com (these two go together)
- Old Testament Take-Home Bible Stories (PreK-K): Thomas Ewald: 9780887248719: Christianbook.com

- Christian Online Bookstore. Children's Bible Stories.Free downloads

- Calvary Chapel Children's Ministry curriculum: Old Testament FREE (these two go together... sometimes the page doesn't load, but come back later... it will)
- Calvary Chapel Children's Ministry Curriculum: New Testament FREE

- Old Testament Stories - MSSS Bible Lessons Index (these two go together)
- New Testament Stories - MSSS Bible Lessons Index

- Web Template

- "Thus Saith the Lord..." Ministries - Children's Bible Coloring Pages

- Mission Arlington | Mission Metroplex: Taking church to the people

- Bible-Based Coloring Pages for Kids ? KidExplorers? at ChristianAnswers.Net

- Song Lyrics and Melodies for Sunday School lessons.

- Timeline of the Bible

If you want a guide for your own study to prepare age-appropriate lessons, I'd definitely recommend these two. The first is upper elementary or middle school. The second is high school or adult.

- Bible Class Curriculum for Elementary, Middle School, Home Schools

- A Bible Survey | Adult Bible Curriculum from the Centerville Road Church Of Christ, Tallahassee, Florida

Thanks!

I love watching Cassie's enthusiasm for reading her Bible! One of her favorite things is to 'read' to me, i.e. she looks at the pictures and tells her own version of the story. It's very funny, and very cute. Also surprising how much she remembers accurately.

If you are wanting to buy something I would recommend Explorer's Bible Study. They break the studies up by age group, and they even have a study for adults. They used to have it where you could go online and download the lesson for free, but there was a problem with that and link wouldn't work, I am not sure if they fixed that or not. I contacted them about it and they just sent me the books for free. We really like them.

I don't think I saw Leading Little Ones to God mentioned... I'm not sure if you would consider it a "program" but it is a devotional-type book for young children based on scripture. You could check it out.

My friend who homeschools her 5 year old daughter just recommended the website Hubbard's Cupboard to me. I haven't used it yet, but she said there are a lot of resources there.
