Christian Light Education, to be clear. I'm disenchanted with the Lifepac idea after reading your and many other reviews...I wanted to like them but I don't think I would. I like the looks of CLE's Learning to Read program for this year, supplemented with Kumon Math and some electives, and then CLE 1st Grade next year.

Pros?

Cons?

Experiences?

I would love to just buy the ABeka but there's no way, this year anyway. I'd have to really save up for that! Wow

I haven't used it, but I've heard nothing but good reviews about CLE.

Yeah, that's what I was noticing too. It's a simple format, teaches with the spiral method, and is affordable. I'm really thinking of using it for 1st grade especially (next year), and seeing how I like it.

I haven't used it either, but I have also heard a lot of good reviews.
