I remember getting them in school as a kid, but I was never all that impressed. I wouldn't buy them for my kids. I'd be more likely to buy a subscription to National Geographic or something.

I would never buy them, but if they were free I'd use them.
But I'm cheap

I wouldn't buy them because anything in them can be found online easily and I think the price isn't indicative of the quality, to be honest. My kids DO like them, they used to get them in school all the time. I just think the cost is stupid. We had to pay for them when they were in school too(wasn't much, but it was still stupid).

Time for kids is much better or these Buy educational children’s magazines & popular kids books at Cricket now! I actually got the girls a subscription to the ladybug and click magazines from that company for Christmas last year and we love them. I get a lot of great science activities from Click.

I remember those when I was little but it is nothing that I would think about buying now though.
