For those of you that do Bible as part of your extracurricular what do you do with it? Do you do a specific curriculum, a devotional for kids, and online kids study? The kids will be starting AWANA in September and I know through that they will have verses to memorize, etc I just wasn't sure what everybody did for this?

I use curriculum. It is from CLP... it is called studying God's word .. it is a workbook and mg kids love it. For the past 2 years, my son went thru the old testament. This year, he will be reading thru the new testament. It runs around $8 thru rainbow resource

I've used a mix of Rainbow Lessons, Abeka, ABC, Waldron, and some free stuff online. This year, we're trying out R&S for the first time. I think I'll like it (5th thru about 9th... quickly, and just for chronology since we've already done 2 years of that). I also plan to use Apologia at some point, and I have some things at home we'll do as well (financial stewardship, apologetics, how we got the Bible, and so on).

That's one I've used, and I like it. There are a lot of mistakes in it (like crosswords not drawn correctly), but it's free... so oh, well!

Yeah, the very first one we did there was a word missing in the word search and ds 1 is very oriented on completely finishing everything so it was frustrating for him but he still really likes them.

We are doing Bible Devotions and Prayer.
We are also using History for Little Pilgrims (which is aimed at 1st to 2nd grade) introduces American history with a bible perspective.

My friend who homeschools her 5 year old daughter suggested Christian Resources to me. Honestly haven't used it myself yet. I also plan to start Thea in AWANA next month.

Right now we are doing Explorers Bible Study. I would like to get them in AWANA, but there is a possibility of a move in our near future, so getting them in something like that just wont work.
