I decided to hs my second child after strugling for years with the public school system.
She has add,social anxiety after she failed twice back to back and spent 4 yrs in a two yr school I was at wits end realizing she wouldn't graduate till 19 or 20 scared me . I was afraid she would not finnish school. I knew I couldn't afford private school and as much as homeschool scared me I couldn't give up on her.so we went to school together I went back and got my ged while we started her on ACE. After about 4 months of only using there curiculim I realized that she was board so we started mixing it up. The outcome has been amazing the more I learn about homeschool and the freedom we have the more I can help her and she is thriving.we r looking into hs for my younger children.at this time we felt like we need to stay foccused on her.she has goals and a future now I wasn't sure we would ever see.I know this is so long but I don't get to talk about it a lot ty for listening
