Is it "A Bug's Life"?
If not then I'm stumped!

Shrek (the original, when they are coming up over the hill and begin to smell the brimstone around the castle where the princess is locked up - can you tell that's a movie I've seen more than a few times...?)

LOL, we've seen Shrek about a million times as well!

Hmmm, I don't know about anyone else, but I need a hint or two on yours!

Here's mine:
Character One says, "Despicable!"
Character Two responds, "You don't even know what we're talking about!"
Character one says, "Dragonflies?"

It was made in 1992. Has lots of really good looking (teenage) guys in it lol Ummm... it's historical fiction.

Hmmmm, I'm still stumped...Is it bad that I can't remember all the way back to 1992? I think I'm gonna need more hints!

Christian Bale is in it which automatically makes it a movie worth seeing just to, you know, see Christian Bale. Of course his accent is a little altered for this movie. The line quoted is one his character says.

Is it the one about the Three Musketeers? If not, I'm completely stumped!

P.S. Wasn't he great in Batman Returns? Whew, what a cutie!

Nope. Let's see... here's another hint. In that line he is talking about the news and the headlines. It's a Disney movie. Live action musical.

Christian Bale is cute in anything he does lol I watched The New World a few weeks ago. He played John Rolf. Got to use his "regular" accent and everything (he's from Wales originally). Quite a nice looker he is.

Is it "Newsies"?

(If it is, is it cheating that I googled "1992 Disney musicals"? LOL)
I haven't actually seen that one although my cousin loved it. I think that "The New World" is one that we have on our Netflix list. (or "queue" as they call it!)

Ding ding ding! We have a winner lol

The New World is great. Of course I'd love it since it has to do with US history, and in particular my own state, but it really was well done. I'm amazed at how good Christopher Plummer (Captain Von Trapp) looks as old as he is now. He's one of those who aged well. I really like how they were so good at separating out the myth from the fact. They researched very carefully for the movie. I was most surprised that Captain John Smith arrived in the colony as a prisoner (for mutiny)! I certainly never learned that.
