Due to some stresses we had this year we put our oldest two into PS. We could have homeschooled this year but I am afraid it would have turned us off from homeschooling for good. They are all coming back home next year. I have been schooling my soon to be 4 yr old (as much as you can a 3 yr old ) Any who I have been lurking here again and I am excited to bring my girls back home next year. My 5 yr old has already asked to come back home. My 8 yr old isn't thrilled about coming back home but I think she'll be okay with it after we get started.

Woo-hoo!! I was hoping you'd be back. Why is the 5 y/o wanting to come home and the 8 y/o not? Any particular reasons, really?

Sounds like you have a great plan! Sometimes making a change for a while is much better than making everyone frustrated and crazy Nice to see you back! What grades will you be doing next year?

Thanks Girls.

My 5yr old (the K'er) wants to come back home because she misses me and thinks school with me is fun. The 8yr old (the 2nd grader) likes school because she gets to see friends everyday. (which isn't a good enough reason to leave her in my opinion) I will be finding ways to get them out more when we are homeschooling again. They are doing pretty good in school. They both got pretty good teachers. Of course there are things that I would do differently if they were schooling at home but, nothing terrible has gone on.

Oh and next year I will have Pre-K, 1st grade and 3rd grade.
