So I woke up this morning and my son, who is 11 btw is adamant on telling me his dream from last night.. So as soon as I get his little brother situated and down to eat breakfast I let him tell me..

It was a long dream about him being back at school and the teachers yelling at him and telling him bad things about himself even when he is not doing anything wrong..

I felt really bad, I reassured him that he is here and we are not going back to school. Wow.. Poor little guy!

Thank goodness it was just a dream and he doesn't have to be in that environment anymore.

That's terrible. I remember my son doing that while he was (briefly) in preschool, and really... it turns your stomach.

I'm sorry he's having such a rough time Thankfully he won't have to deal with those things IRL anymore!

It makes me rather sick that this is what the school system here looks like.. He is as smart as heck and he feels like he is not in their eyes.. he even said that in the dream the teacher told him to prove that he could do algebra (because that is what we are working on, just started) and wrote some complicated equation on the board and was telling him to solve it in front of everyone, and when he couldn't (because we are not that far into it) called him a liar and said he was stupid..

Kids should have nightmares of scary stories.. not schools.. ugh.. disgusting!
