Do you allow your children to do "school" in their pyjamas, or do they get dressed first?

im super curious about this too, im not sure what we will do, I think I would likely allow them to do their school work in their PJs if they chose too

I let them do their work in whatever they want to wear.
Some days it's jammies, some days clothes, some days they even wear costumes, lol.
This morning before we left Leo was wearing a white unicorn costume. He only changed because I had a dr appointment and he would have been hot.
(I'm that odd mom that lets her kids wear whatever they want out of the house, in the house too, really, lol)
Me, I figure whatever makes them most comfy, is what matters. Same reason I let them do their work wherever they choose. Unless they start screwing around or not doing their work-in which case they have to sit somewhere still. But we rarely have that problem these days. If a kiddo is really having a bad day, making them sit still won't help so that's when we abandon work for the day. Leo hangs off the couch a lot to do his work, he says he thinks better upside down. Who am I to say he doesn't? lol

As a general rule, the kids get dressed on their own because they want to, but I don't get dressed until we leave to go somewhere (or until dh is on his way home from work that evening... LOL).

The big two can wear whatever they want. Usually that means they are in regular clothes. I dress Adrian and have Fritz get dressed before school.

So far, the kids have been getting dressed, but just because they want to- it's not really a super important thing for us. It's part of their regular routine and they've pretty much stuck to it on their own.

I have Andy get dressed but it is only because he would hang out all day in his underwear if he could My Little guy Liam (1) is always dressed in the morning after I change his diaper.. I have always done it so it just kinda keeps going unless dad is home on the weekends, he doesn't do things like I do

Miles is the only one doing school every day right now, and I usually make him put on something because he tries to hang out in his boxers lol. Sometimes it's just PJ pants and a T if I know we aren't going to be doing anything and the weather is too yucky to go outside. If I figure we will go out and play later he goes ahead and puts on some clothes.

Mine are dressed, but only because they have to wake up first thing and take their dogs out. They are old enough that they are horrified at the thought of going outside in their pajamas! LOL Otherwise, I am sure they would love to do school in their jammies. I just want them to be comfy.
