Got my hair cut today ... twice, actually. (Once by the lady who apparently had no clue what she was doing, and once by myself... looks great now.)
She was chit-chatting like hair-cutters like to do. She told me I look like a teacher and asked me if I was. (Oddly, that's the second stranger this week who's said that. ) I said I used to teach high school, but now I homeschool my own kids. Blah, blah, blah... more conversation. Then she asked me when I was going to "let" my kids go to school, and said in a very condescending/rude tone, "no wonder they want to homeschool... they just learn whatever they want and play with their friends all day." Um... duh?! How is that a bad thing?? She was also under the impression that I planned to keep popping out lots of babies... couldn't believe a homeschooler would only have 2 kids. You need to stop watching TV, lady!
I always say, some people are the epitome of stupid. But then you have to thank such people(for being a shining example) because, odds are, no properly homeschooled person would ever say something so idiotic
Ok, I kid, I kid, anyone could, regardless of their schooling and/or upbringing, but seriously...Sometimes, some people deserve an epic facepalm for their epic failboat moments.
