It went well. I really didn't buy any curriculum, but rather just piles of random books, manipulatives, and other fun things. There were a lot of good things there, but I just didn't know what I was looking for, and it was too hard to look at things in detail while also watching the girls. For example, I found a great looking Grade 1 LA pack that I was really thinking about getting. Then I opened it up, and saw it was way easy. Soo...I decided Matt must need Grade 2, but from another company, and then I thought that was too hard. I guess I'll just have to shop online where I can take my time picking things out!
The best part was meeting people from the co-op. Everyone seemed really nice, and there was a LARGE group of toddlers and preschoolers for my girls to play with. Lots of younger siblings! That was nice, because with Matt and Beth staying home I don't think I will be able to return Carrie to her preschool which she really loved. It would just be too much driving back and forth with all the kids. So hopefully she can get plugged in with this group and do some fun things too. This will be her pre-k year I guess...she's 4 1/2. I did buy her a little hooked on phonics pre k set. I haven't looked at it much, but it was dirt cheap, so worth a try.
