So far in Ga, it seems that getting into college is not the problem, it's getting financial aid and scholarships that is the difficult part. I'm hoping this is better by the time the kids get there!
Financial aid & scholarships aren't an issue in TX. I think over the next 10 years, it'll be easier everywhere unless there are major (good) changes to educational system as a whole.
I have a friend who's son is now a sophomore in college and she was a little worried when it came to applying for college but she found it was not a problem at all and he is now excelling. He's been on the dean's list every semester for his high grades.
