I am thinking we are homeschooling our DD next year and wanted to talk to someone that has used some of the programs.
She is in Gr 2, If anyone have some programs they like I would love to hear them too.

I'm from New Brunswick, but we haven't used many programs so far, I've been making up our own curriculum. I do have hooked on phonics and explode the code that I plan to try, we've already started hooked on phonics.

I was looking at Saxson and Horizon for a math program. Has anyone used them and have any like/dislikes about them ?

I'm Canadian but live in the states.

Of your two math choices for 2nd grade, I would choose Horizons. Saxon is a solid program too, but imo better starting around 4th/5th grade.

We love horizons, we will use it through 6th and then switch to Saxon from then on.
