When Patrick was around 2, he was coloring with a white crayon on white paper and got aggravated. He threw it down and said, " I don't want this crayon...it needs new batteries!"
I sent this in to a parenting magazine and they used it!!!! We got paid for it and everything.

Then, shortly after that, he said something else that I sent in and it got picked too!!!!!!!
He got sick one night and was sitting on the toilet feeling really bad. He looked at me and said, "Mama, did we forget to bless our food today?"

I could have written a book on Patrick's sayings!!!

For the first couple days after Fritz was born Cameron had a lot of trouble remembering his name. We had really thought Fritz was a girl so Cameron was all ready knowing the name Kati so Fritz really threw him for a loop. Finally he told me "I knowed Fritz a long, long time before I was born. I just forgot his name!"

My kids always say something needs new batteries, too, when it's not working right (even if it doesn't require batteries).

The most recent thing: Jared was looking for his new superman undies and couldn't find them. (They were needing to be washed) He finally gave up and found pair that were new and brought them to me. They were solid grey with green outline. And he asked "What kind of underwear are THESE???" So I told him they're just plain grey and to just put them on. Then he looks at me with this really shocked and disgusted look and says "You mean, I gotta wear underwear with NO PICTURES on them???"
