I don't know if any of you remember me, but I was on here some in the past. I homeschooled my DS1 for K, 1st, and part of 2nd when he decided that he wanted to try public school. We enrolled him in school on base (we're military and stationed in Germany) and he did half a year in the school. It was miserable, the teacher was lazy and very hands off. He had trouble with kids in the class bullying him. We finished out the year, but decided that homeschooling was definitely right for us! We'll be starting 3rd grade here in a few weeks! I think we're going to start the school year off with a Unit study about the Olympics while that is going on, and then jump right into our regular curriculum after!
I also have a 2 1/2 year old DS, Rylan.. and a new baby girl, Amelia.
