I said yesterday that it couldn't get much hotter. Well, it did today. I don't know the last time that I sweated as much as I did today...just going in and out. I tried to sit outside and visit with my neighbors at 9:00 TONIGHT and was sweating like the middle of the day. Well, when I went inside and looked at the temp, it was still 93F!!!!!! At 9:00 at night. It is 10:30 now and is 85F...feels like 92F!!!!!!!!!! CRAZY!!
I got a scare today...the pool pump quit working. The pool looked all wrong this morning. When I tried to turn the pump on to treat it, it wouldn't come on. Well, thanks to my very handy husband, it is fixed. He also fixed our air conditioner unit this week....I do love a man who can fix things . We would have just been stuck in the house or standing under the water sprinker if that pump hadn't been fixed.

WOW, 110? I don't think that it got that hot here, although it got close some places in our state. I'm sure that the heat index was that high, though. My DH works a lot in the heat so I worry about him during the day.
I'm ready for fall as well....alas, we still have August to live through! *melts into a pool of sweat*

Yes, I dread August! If it's already 110 in mid-July, I can't imagine the heat in August. That's usually our hottest month. And so dry! We rarely get rain in the summer here. So that just adds to the heat.
