I'm so excited! I've been looking for a place that offers swim lessons during the school year. And hopefully someone that offers them during the day, because the rush hour traffic around here is unreal. I found a really awesome place today, and they offer a morning class for homeschoolers, and it is heavily discounted. Almost half off of their regular evening and weekend classes. It sounds really good too. I've got nothing against Parks & Rec lessons, and my kids have had several sessions at other bases, but this is a step above teenagers teaching for a summer job. I really think they are going to pick up some swimming skills. Beth and Matt both know how to swim already (like major doggy-paddle, lol) but really need to be taught some form. They start at age three as well, so Carrie can be included.
To add to my most excellent day - I got my ice maker fixed. It's been broken for a month during the hottest part of the year. Also, the dentist called me and offered me four appointments for the kids on Thursday. Usually it's a big pain to try to get an appointment for all four at the same time, but these just fell right into my lap. It's the little things, right?
We're considering Kids First Swim School. They just opened a brand new one in Waldorf.

LOL It's like 10 minutes from my house. How much are the homeschool swimming lessons?

How long are the sessions? 6 weeks or something like that? I'll have to talk about this with Jamie
