We just moved to Hawaii on Friday (military) and we haven't gotten a house yet, BUT I have found a homeschool group on base and joined it. I am so excited for Addi to get to go on field trips and have parties and activities with other kids this year.

Yeah! Where in Hawaii do you live? We were stationed at Pearl Harbor several years ago and lived in Navy housing out in Ewa Beach. My kids were babies then, so I wasn't homeschooling yet. One of my favorite places to go was Ko Olina. It's a resort with a few lagoons that's also open to the public. However, not many tourists know about it, so it's not as crowded.

Kirstin we were at Ko Olina this past Sunday, we loved it! One of the workers at our hotel told us about it. We are currently at the Best Western by the airport but we will be stationed at Shafter.

You found Ko Olina already...that's awesome! FYI, it's a great place to snorkel. The fish you'll see are so beautiful! I wish I could go back....

How great! I adore our homeschool group- it's small but wonderful. It makes such a difference to be able to have a group to go on field trips and do activities with!
