A few weeks ago, I managed to get R&S English 8th (complete set), and then tonight I got Apologia Biology (text only) for a grand total of $30! To buy those new would've cost me around $120. Obviously I don't need either one yet, but I'm always on the lookout for things I already know for certain I'll use at some point.
Have you gotten any good deals lately on HS books and/or supplies?
I have to start looking for more deals. I try to keep track of when other homeschool families have yard sales, because they usually have books for sale. I bought a Saxon Math 6/5 set (book, answer book, test book) a couple of weeks ago for only $7. I'll use it next year for my youngest daughter.
