Are you looking forward to changes this Fall... cooler temps, changing leaves, changing cuisine, holidays, etc.?

... or do you get seasonal affective disorder?

I love the fall. September and October are magnificent in Georgia. I am looking forward to the field trips that we have planned over the next few weeks! Pumkin patches, corn mazes, apple picking, hiking, and simply driving through the mountains to see the colors change. I just love it!

I enjoy fall in Arizona because it starts cooling off enough to go outside while the sun is up! On a personal (and selfish) note I also like it because my birthday is in October

I love fall, but I hate that it's so short and then winter follows

I sort of like the color change but hate what that brings, the cold dreary days of winter. My body doesnot tolerate cold well right now so I have a feeling it is going to be a rough winter.

i LOVE Fall! after the super loooooong icky humid summer Im always so happy to feel the cooler weather. The changing of the leaves is beautiful too. We always have so many fun things to do. The only thing I dont love about it is that it goes by so fast.

I love the fall. I'm a runner and hiker, so the cooler weather is better for these activities. My allergies act up, and my asthma is worse, so it makes my activities more challenging, but I have some good meds that help. My girls and I will trail run and hike a few times a week and count it as PE or a field trip until it gets below freezing. The changes in color are very beautiful in my area, but we have a large amount of tourist throughout October in our area because of the changing of the leaves. I really don't care for the tourist.

Where do you go apple picking? I would love to find a decent place to go!

I, too, live in Georgia and I LOVE fall. The humidity is gone and the weather is just lovely. I love everything about this season.

Ellijay and Blue Ridge have so many places to go apple picking. I have family all throughout the mountains and foothills. This year we're planning to go with some cousins to Mercier's Apple Orchard in Blue Ridge.

Around here, we don't have "fall". We have 1-2 months of winter (cool or warm with MAYBE one cold snap of ice), 1 month each of spring & fall (hot and muggy), and a super long summer (very hot and usually dry). The only way I can tell it's fall is by looking at all the fake fall colors at the store. If I want changing leaves, I have to buy artificial plants. If I want a pumpkin, I have to go to walmart and buy one. LOL!

But I like fall, because it's my busy season, and the season of the year when most of my family's holidays & bdays fall.

I used to live outside of Austin. If you are close enough there is a great pumpkin patch in Marble Falls.

Chrystal, when I was reading your post I was thinking "Hey we had seasons in Texas" but I'm from NE Texas lol. I forget how many different terrains and climates there are in one state.

Here in Hawaii we have one season all year pretty much, Fall is my favorite season too so I am missing it. I do have my cinnamon vanilla scentsy going though to make it seem a little bit more like fall lol.

I do get seasonal affective disorder, but Fall is still my favorite season. lol I love everything about it, except maybe the extra rain. We have satellite internet since we are in the country, and it goes out every time it rains. A few of DS's subjects are online, and it stinks b/c he can't do his work when he is supposed to. We ran into this today.
