The English work on the left is from about a month ago, and the paper on the right is from this week. Can you see how much he has improved already? You can tell he still gets tired and starts writing downhill, but it's so much better than when he began. I feel like he has a much easier time staying on task now that he doesn't think his work takes him ten pages to complete.

That looks great! Remind me... how old is he? Do you ever have him write on larger, dotted paper also?

He's 6 1/2. Yeah, he just made the switch this month. The bigger paper just wasn't working for him anymore with the amount he wanted to write. For a while I had him write and draw on unlined paper, then he switched over to the wide ruled like B.

I thought he was. He's the same age as Ben, but Ben has motor delays. His OT still has him using dotted paper (which doesn't really help most of the time, either.) B still writes like a 4-5 year old most of the time. When his OT is sitting next to him and coaching him, it looks much better, but usually, it's not even close to what you've posted above in the 2nd page. It looks more like the 1st page.
