Share some of the christmas crafts/ programs you are or have done.

I've got a little one (2.5 years old) so we've made a paper countdown to Christmas chain, flour ornaments, and snowflakes. I might add more if I have time.

We don't really celebrate Christmas, so I don't have any craft ideas. Sorry!

We don't celebrate it religiously, because we don't know for sure when He was born, and the Bible only gives instructions for remembering His death, and we don't celebrate with Santa, because I don't want to lie to the kids. We do gifts out of tradition, we eat because hello?? food!, and we get together with family because it's an easy time of year to do that.

Oh! Yay! I just posted about this in another thread. My kids are rolling through crafts right now like they are going out of style since we are on break. I've instagrammed a couple of the crafts, and I'll post links.

We are using holyheros.com Advent Adventures to go through the Advent season.

So far we have made one weeks worth of Jesse Tree ornaments. We'll do week 2 today. I haven't taken a picture of these yet.

I forgot to take a picture of these. The kids played with them till they were destroyed. They loved this.

And I got these clear ornaments to fill up from Walmart. Not sure what I'm going to do with them yet, but hopefully I'll come up with something . Even if it's just painting their names on it.

We still have space on our calendar for 2-4 more crafts. I'm anxious to see what everyone else is doing to get ideas!

Right now the kids are working on their gingerbread houses.(we use graham crackers, we all hate gingerbread, lol)
Later on we'll be making our cinnamon applesauce ornaments and pomanders. Well the pomanders have to wait until I go buy more cloves. The store we went to didn't have any.
I'll post pics of it all when we're finished, lol.

We don't do advent or anything religious whatsoever, won't see any of that.

They finished making a big batch of cards and decorations to take to the children's hospital. I forgot to get pics and we already took them up there. We spent more than one Christmas in that hospital so, we really enjoy being able to give something to the parents and kiddos stuck there this time of year. We also make little baggies with craft stuff for the kids to make themselves-the ones who can anyway. That stuff we took up there a couple weeks ago.

We have a ton of baking to do still, but I need to get more of the ingredients first. I seem to keep forgetting things, lol. We were going to make haystacks and buckeyes today, but I forgot the stuff when we were just at the store getting stuff for the gingerbread houses. Ooops.

The kids have made a ton of other decorations for the tree, and walls. Our tree only has maybe 6 or 7 actual ornaments on it. Everything else is handmade. The kids love it, and I don't have to worry about things possibly being broken. The house is covered in paper snowflakes, most made from coffee filters, lol.

Cute! So far we've done a few ornaments, used those wooden cutouts that you get for a few cents each at craft stores )we used gingerbread man shapes and Christmas trees, then we decorated them with buttons, etc. We also made a fake candle centerpiece.. I'll post pictures when I can
