Do you get your hair & nails done? If so, how often, and how much do you spend?
My hubby has no idea how much money I save the family... I cut my own hair, rarely touch up the color with a $5 box from walmart, and never do my nails. I'd LOVE to get my hair done every 6-8 weeks, but mine costs $125 each time to maintain, so I just don't. I keep it in a ponytail most of the time.
I cut the kids' hair too. Mine hasn't been cut in ages, but I can cut it myself if needed. I'm a very low maintenance type person. I don't do makeup(except nail polish). I don't do much with my hair, and def. I never use extra products other than a conditioner now and again if needed. I tend to leave my head alone, it has enough problems.
My aunt is a cosmetologist so when I am home in Texas (like I am now) I go to her shop to get it done. She charges me 50.00 for a cut and color-so basically I only pay for product. When I am not in Texas I rarely get it done though, and that's only getting my bangs trimmed every once in awhile.
i go to a salon to get my hair cut, maybe once a year. Usually we all go to my BIL as he is a hair stylist (though the boys and Dh go more often than i do). But i only get my hair cut, not dyed or anything fancy
i have never had my nails done, i dont think i ever will, its just not something i would enjoy or be into

I get a haircut once or twice/year, never my nails. I cut DH's and the kids myself (except Alyssa's last haircut, she was donating so I took her to get it done).
no never. my mom cuts my hair, i dont color it and i dont do my nails (sometimes i do them at home by myself). the only time ive had either done at a salon was for my wedding

I bite my nails so I definitely don't spend money to get them done. I occasionally get my hair trimmed. I don't even let them blow dry it when I have it cut. I don't do it at home so I don't do it at the salon (um, Hair Cuttery) either. I never use anything but shampoo and conditioner on my hair.

I worked in a salon for a while and learned a lot. So I cut my own hair as well as everyone in the family (neighborhood? lol). I feel like I'm always cutting someone's hair. I actually wish I had a sink and chair in my house specifically for it. I don't go into the salon unless a friend needs a model for something, then I might go let them do something to my hair for a show. But I like doing things on my own for the most part. Saves money and time.
