Welcome to the board! I'm Chrystal, and I have two boys. We've homeschooled from the beginning. Before this, I was a private music teacher and a public school band & science teacher (among other things... I've dabbled in many things, actually).
Thank you for the welcome! We've always homeschooled and I love it! It is getting trickier with the more kids we have. I sometimes feel stretched in different directions. I'm amazed at what my 2&3 yrs olds have learned! I'm a huge believer in a prepared environment. I just need to organize everything again. My two yrs old is destructive! His nickname is Monster as it seems that he would level a small city if given the chance. He is smart and absorbs info like a sponge. I need to step up my three yrs olds curriculum as well. He is maturing so quickly and loves to do his school work. My grade school kids are doing great! We keep forgetting to do Latin and they are begging for more though. Never enough hours in the day it seems. I want them to have lots of time to play and be kids too!
What are you using for Latin? We just finished Latin for Children and loved it! (We started with Song School Latin). We'll take a year off language and then go back to Greek in 2014.
Thank you! I'm not homeschooling full time yet.. and I haven't taken on the battle of telling Big Boy's father that I want to homeschool him, but I hope to be very active on this board!
