I just ordered my curriculum for next year. This is the first time I've officially bought boxed curriculum. Allison finished kindergarten a couple of weeks ago but we used workbooks from Sam's Club and Progressive Phonics because she went from pre-k to k overnight and I planned on playing with concepts until this school year. She had other ideas and I pieced it together.

I bought Horizons 1 for Math, Learning Language Arts Through Literature, and Magic School Bus books for Science. I didn't get too crazy

I'm just using the regular reading books as a jumping off point for science. If she is interested in the topic, we will go further, if not, then she has some basic information on that topic. I wanted to keep Science and Social Studies light, she is only 3!

Thanks! I think every kid is special. Allison just seems to excel in academics. I figure she will slow down at some point (I hope)!

Sounds like great choices! The math and LA are both solid programs (they'll probably challenge her pretty well), and the science is a fun way to really introduce and dig into topics that interest her!
