I have posted here a few times off and on but since we are officially starting kindergarden I think I will be posting more. I live in southern NH.I have four kiddos Brandond is 9 and is in PS. We are still undecided on what he is going to do this year. I keep going back and forth and so does he.
Ashlie is 4 and will be 5 in January. Last year we did letter of the week. I'm still not sure what I want to do for this year. I'm thinking of doing Oak Meadows with my oldest and winter prmise with Ashlie. I would like to use winterpromise with both of them. I am really confused about how they use their themed programs for more than one year though. Anyone use them?
I dont use winters promise so I cant assist you there and actually we didnt do anything formal for K because my youngest daughter was learning from her older sisters. I did want to welcome you to the boards though!
Crunchymama!! I've seen you all over the place on other boards here at JM, so I'm glad that you're going to be here, too!
I've not read anything on Winter Promise or Oak Meadows, so I don't have any advice to give in that vein. Sorry! I think that others on this board have used it, though, so hopefully they'll jump in with their 2 cents.
