Corny title, I know, but I couldn't think of another "catchy" (or "ketchy", as we'd say here in OK) title for my question!
How do you organize your time in school? Do you begin a subject and then work until it's completed or do you have a time limit? How long do you have school each day? And, when you have time for yourself, what do you do with it?

You see this is a problem for me. I try to start a subject until I finish it, but I got some dawdlers here so that doesn't always work. If they don't finish it in time sometimes I make them do their work with dad and sometimes we just put it on the list for the next day.

We start an activity and usualy finish it, although if it's kind of in two steps as some of our craft projects are we will finish it another day. I generaly leeve from 10-11.30 'open' for school. I don't like to run on much longer as my son normaly wants an early lunch. After that my ds goes down for a nap, my dd plays quietly and I mostly play around on the computer. Yep I am adicted to message boards, like this! to a live homeschool chat that I frequent, and to playing SIMS.

We tend to power thru it, however long it takes. No set time limit per subject. Takes 1-2 hrs.

We usually start a subject and continue through til it's done. It usually takes about 2-3 hours depending on how much he dawdles and how big of an activity/craft we have planned.
