I found a GREAT math site! Math-U-See, Preston had fun playing on the quiz page! It is a 20 question test, and it can be customized to what the child is working on. Pret took the test 3 times...19/20, 15/20, and 20/20! I am so proud of him, some of them were tough too, his hardest was 9+9, it took him a bit to get it, but he did! This will be what we are going to use for a lot of the Math. I don't really want to buy the programs just yet, as they cost about $80-$100, pr year. I figure we can just use his Legos. But if it gets to the point where he wants the actual materials, I'll have no problem getting them. have you used this program? What do you think of it?
I am changing my daughter...5th grade...from Saxon to Math-U-See this year. I have heard nothing but good about the program. I hope it works better for her than Saxon does. I still plan on using Saxon for my boys as long as they respond well to it. I just felt like Madison needed more visual instruction, which I think she will get from Math-U-See. I will let you know how it works for us!!!
