I had the hardest time with guitar in first grade. So we are putting that on hold until we move to Shreveport and I sign him up for professional lessons. We have moved on to something easier for his mama to teach. The flutophone. A Beka even has the student and the teacher manual. I love having it all written out! I will let you guys know how we like it after a few lessons.
"I am a midwife. It is not just what I do, it is what I am, and I grow in it."
I hope that goes well.
We bought Patrick a recorder once, but never taught him to play it. Carter got a great guitar for his birthday this past year, and Jeff has been trying to teach him some.
I really wish that Patrick would take piano, but it has to be his idea. I want to see my children playing music. Madison loves to sing, but hasn't done much with it. Jeff and I agreed to help with the children's choir at church this year. Therefore, all of our kids are in it too . Maybe Madison will have more opportunities to sing.
I hope it goes great!!!!!!!!!!
