I've visited a couple of yall's blogs and I think I want to try one of my own. But I'm just wondering about the privacy of it. Is it possible to make it private where the only people who can read are the ones that I give the link to? I just don't want all our personal information and my kids' pictures out there for just anyone to see.

I believe that Choshojo is right - you can make them completely private. Or, if you don't do that, you can choose how much or how little information is shown. On my blog, I make sure to not use our last name, or even the "real" names of our kids or my husband. I also don't have any information about where we live in our profile, and I try to keep my posts fairly "generic" if I'm speaking about our location. (For an example, in a recent post I spoke of "a water park in our town") Through taking these measures, I feel safe posting pictures and things like that.
I love having my blog because it allows our out of town family to see what we're doing in school. I hope you start one! If you do, link all of us so we can come and leave comments!
