This is going to sound SO WEIRD, but...can we all share our real names if you're comfortable with that? I know that some of us have our real names in our siggies, but for those who don't, it feels strange to refer to you as your screen name!! (Yes, pregodego2, I'm talking to YOU!!! Tee hee!)
Anyway, as you can see from MY siggie, I'm Lisa! As in Jo's favorite smilie:

I agree. It is odd referring to someone by their screen name.
As you can see, I'm Krista, as in

I'm Teresa. I have a hard time with that too. I really try hard to learn people's names.

I'm Jennifer, but prefer to be called Jenn (as in my sig). "Jennifer" just seems too formal. Jenn feels more *friendly*. Oh, and you have to spell it with 2 n's because it just looks prettier. Like "Anne with an 'e' " as in Anne of Green Gables.

YAY! Another Lisa!! It's the coolest name, ya know!

When I worked, in my pre-kids life, I was in a department of about 25 people and we had 3 LISA'S!! We jokingly referred to ourselves as L1, L2, and L3....in fact, I'm still friends with one of them and when I write an email to her, I'll address it to L1 and sign it L2.
We also had 2 Shawns, 2 Stephanies, and a Jeanette and a Jeanne, two names which are just similar enough to make it confusing! It was funny!

Yeeeesssss....I was too scared to come out of the doghouse to respond!

You know how, when you're a little girl and you're playing house, you always choose a different name than the one you have? (I assume all little girls do this...or maybe I'm just weird!) Anyway, I ALWAYS chose to be one of two names because I thought they were the most beautiful names in the world....I was either JoAnne or MaryAnne!
It's funny because now, Reilly always chooses to be "Christy" when she plays!

I always choose Julie. When I was younger my birth father was out of the picture so the man my mom married leagally adopted me. I was five when it happened... and when were were at the court house do do all the last name changings and make it all finalized the judge asked if I wanted to change my name. I said "Yes I want my name to be Julie." I had the whole court house laughing.
