Thats so typical of stuff that happens with schools. Sounds like some teachers need to get there acts together. Why do third graders need to take home an alphabet sheet anyways.

I have no idea how she missed it I looked it up and it's verry clear. However my husband didn't notice it until he was a lot closer to the computer (I guess far away you can't tell)

You know I just read an article (I'll have to see if I can refind it so I can send you guys the link... that most homeschoolers test at least one year ahead of students their own age who attend public schools (in the upper grades on average it's up to four years ahead). Maybe this school is just REALLY far behind. (Xander's 3 and he doesn't need an ABC chart)

the news story I saw shows the handout

it was sort of the cover of the spelling handout

funny I posted this on another site I go to and most of the people there saw the thing and decided that it was an honest mistake and couldnt understand why such a big deal had been made about it.

I myself would have been furious if I were one of the parents. Yeah it was a mistake why would a teacher do that on purpose? but it's a mistake that shoudl not have happened IMO

it sure is interesting

I'm not into the whole teacher bashing thing. I don't think the teacher did it on purpose and honestly I wouldn't want to be a teacher so I try not to give them too much grief. They have a hard job.
