Just another reason why I don't want to send my kids to school. It sometimes makes me wonder why anyone would want to send their kids into school. I mean really does a year go by where we don't hear about school shootings or bomb threats?

Exactly...it's like dropping them off at the mall and leaving them. I mean, I know that many schools have some security measures, but if someone wants to get in there, they can. Not long before I pulled mine out of school, I learned that we have about 6 sex offenders...child sex offenders....living right here in our area....a few of them very close to the school. I don't know how in the world they were allowed to do that. Most of them had come from other states, which meant to me that they got in trouble there. Makes me sick!!!

Oh wow that is so so sad! I just sat and watched the film clip of that brave young man who tried to stand up for the girls. The shooter was basicly there as a sexual preditor, ugg makes me sick.

What an amazing boy to tell that man that he wanted to stay. Most would have high tailed it out of there. Wow...his mom must feel proud of him for that!!!
Those poor girls. I don't even want to think about what they went through. I can't imagine how the parents feel. I'm sure right now they are just so grateful that their babies are still alive...except for the one . Oh my...so sad .
Most people feel that school is one place where they don't have to worry about their kids...it's just not so anymore .
