Well, our little storm turned into a full blown natural disaster overnight. We live in a town well accustomed to snow..and lots of it, but this storm really took everybody by surprise.

Due to falling tree limbs and power lines (not to mention the two feet of snow) everything is closed for the day. At least 200,000 people are out power (thankfully we haven't lost ours yet) and a state of emergency has been declared in many of our neighboring towns.

Here's the view from my front porch today:

Wow!!!!!!!!!!!! You just didn't get a fall did you???
It was in the low 50'sF here today and that was quite cool for us. I think it is supposed to warm up again soon.
Just stay in and stay snug .

Holey Free-holeys!! Thatsa buncha snow!! *sigh* We're just now getting into cooler weather (highs in the mid-60's) and I'm really wanting it to get COLD!!
