Where are you from Shery? We had spider problems in IL and here in GA but not usually brown recluses! By husband did catch a black widow spider at work a long time ago. He was working in a warehouse and he reached down to grab a bag of something and the black widow was 2 inches from his hand. He's very lucky he didn't get bitten. Oddly, he first thought was "I should get a jar!". He's afraid of spiders!!! I usually kill the ones that get in the house! haha Except for Spidey, he was our pet tarantula but he died in a tragic sofa bed accident. R.I.P. Spidey!
I live in North Louisiana. This is the first time that we have had to deal with the brown recluse. We may have had them all along, but Jeff being bitten brought it to our attention.
Jeff has brought 2 black widows home from work...so scary, but they are so beautiful.
