I had to drag out the winter clothes and all the blankets that night! later we learned that Stanthorp a place that always wins the coldest place award, a drive of about 2 1/2 hours from us, had .................................................. ..............................

My friend Natalie, who lived in Perth until 4th grade, said that she came for a visit to the U.S. once before her family moved here and saw snow for the first time and was so fascinated that she wanted to take some home in cooler to show her friends!

Well, hey head on up here at the end of this week. I think we're supposed to get some snow here in OK, which will actually we really weird for 2 reasons:
1) It's been in the mid 70's for the past week - I've got our attic fan on right now and it's bee-yoo-ti-ful
2) We usually don't see snow until January, if we see it at all!
So, I'm excited...but I guess it means I should get off my hiney and actually get our cold weather clothes out of the closet! The high tomorrow is 73 and the high on Thursday is 38!

Lisa....now that is an idea! Depends on how finances go in the next few weeks. But I think a trip to OK is great. I have an online pal (known her for 5-6 years) and she is in OK....now you have me thinking!

They're forcasting 5-6 inches for a lot of areas, 10 inches in some, and highs in the mid-20's tomorrow. The only problem with OK snow is that it doesn't stick around for more than a few days! By a week from now, we'll probably be back up in the 70's! (Freaky, freaky OK weather!)

Orlando FL had flurries mid-last week. My brother said he about near froze. But then Floridians freeze at temperatures I consider comfortable like my aunt wearing a sweater when it's 80 out (and they adapt so fast - it wasn't so long ago my brother lived in cold UT).

Hi Chelita,
We went snow hunting year before last...only we did it in the summer . Here we are in Colorado after we finally made it to a little pitiful amount of snow.
We have talked about going somewhere in the winter to find the snow. Maybe we will do it this year. My kids really want it to snow again.
