Long night... Taejan has been fighting bed since we put him in there.. so badly that Declan is sleeping in our bed until Taejan settles in. Jadziah has already been up once with a night terror and now her cheek hurts? She's laying whimpering with a cold wet cloth on it.. I am literally seeing double I am so tired. No sleep last night because of Taejan's issues, the night before was my insomnia..the night before I woke at 2am ( slept from 9-2) and was up for the day.. I am on the verge of a serious crash if I don't get to sleep tonight. I can handle 2-3 nights of little to no sleep..I am used to it.. but if I have a 4th I tend to be not very functional ..aghh..pray they all settle.. I can't have Eric getting up either.. he has been learning another machine at work and the last thing I need is him getting hurt.. last time he got up 2 nights in a row with the kids he almost cut off 3 fingers and ended up with 11 stitches!

Hey, I just said a prayer that you get some rest tonight. I sure hope that it settles down for you.

Thanks.. it was 3am before they all were totally settled..not sure WHAT the heck was up.. Jae's cheek hurt... Declan had a headache.. it was NOT a fun night.. I crashed finally around 3:30 and slept till 7:30. The night terror thing sucks.. Declan is almost all grown out of them..but Jae still has them and Taejan has started them.. they make for lONG nights!

I'm sorry. I don't function on one night of no sleep.

Eathan has those terrors and I think he is finally starting to grow out of them. Now he just talks in his sleep. I think Garrett is starting with them b/c he is waking screaming for no reason. It is definitely rough, so I feel your pain. Hopefully tonight will be better for you.

Poor mama and babies! HUGS!

Ya know, I think Remy has night terrors. He will just start screaming and talking. We will get up with him and try to talk to him but it is like he is still asleep. So....we will walk around turn on lights and stuff. Sometimes it takes forever to wake him up out of it. Once he was even scared of me!!!! And then he will go to sleep and not remember a thing. It is so sad....

Would that be considered the same thing?

That's very close to what Eathan does. He will just cry and scream and he is VERY hard to wake. Sometimes we can understand what he is saying, but other times he is just mumbling. Most of the time he is screaming like something is wrong with him and it worries us, but he finally stops or we get him woke up and he doesn't even realize he was crying.

I have ro advise NOT to wake them..please. If they are night terrors..just hold them.. tak to them..leave the lights off etc.. if you can leave them in their own bed that is best.... night terrors are hard..for all..Declan used to have them ever single night.

Sometimes Eathan won't quit until he is woke up. Thankfully he is done with all of that. I think Garrett is starting them, but I'm praying that they just skip over him.
