My girls are still awake with me tonight. They are giving me a pedicure though so I am not running them off. They have me figured out, if they brush my hair, or give me a "pedicure" or some other kind of pampering....they can stay up later. Now Morgan is reading books to me too!! Gotta love having girls! (although Aaron will come in and massage my head and shoulders on occasion too)

I would love too rent them. I have all boys so no girly nights for me. they wouldn't even have to pamper me. Just the added estrogen my house would nice.

Chooks here refer to chickens. Is that what you mean?

My only girl is definitely NOT a girly-girl. I would blame it on having so many brothers, but it was evident right from the time she had an ability to show preference for Robert's toys over her own. She is quite motherly with her littlest brother, though, and I love watching how she helps him so patiently.

Closest thing I get to a pedicure is when I cut my toenails with these huge clippers I have. I can already tell I'll only be able to do that job myself another month or so, though. Then I guess they'll just grow 'till I have the baby and can reach them again!

As someone who has been to Outback Steakhouse a few times... I knew what a chook is lol

Cameron's the better momma hair brusher here. But Ani gives some great massages.

I googled it. LOL But now that you mention it I remember seeing that term on Outback's menu. LOL!!! I don't think a chicken will help me much though. I need more girl power, not something else to feed and clean up after. ROFL!

LOL.......Ok, should I start a sign up list for who wants to rent my girls? Really, mine can be super girly girls or they can be tomboy too.........they love to dress up pretty and do girly things but then, they will turn around and play football with the boys! It is fun though.

That's probably because we'll be keeping some soon. Sorry that confused me... I was wondering how chickens entered the conversation. LOL!

I figured chook is the way Jo said it meant kind of like chicks here in the non-chicken sort of way.

US and Australia. Two countries separated by a common language. (Okay, so the quote is actually US and England, but it applies.)

LOL A chick is a baby chicken, but it can also be used to refer to a female, usually a good looking one. It's not used so much anymore though.
