Chris works for the cable co and has been there about a year now. He is back in college and will have his degree within a year. He is going for computer programming and such and has always wanted to be someone who stoped people from hacking computers and starting virus's. To do that you really have to know your stuff!! Well at the cable co there is an opening for someone that could do that So he expreesed interst in it and they called him yesterday while we were out shopping! He has to call them back today! he may get the position which would be so awesome cause not only would he be working a cool job but starting would be 15 - 20 more a year!

How awesome! I hope he gets it. Jamie did two computer security classes this semester. He's going to take the Sec+ test just because. It has nothing to do with his job (sort of... I suppose computer security is always something to think about, especially when dealing with the networks for the Dept. of Homeland Security), but having the certification is good anyway. As part of one of his classes he had to read Cuckoo's Egg by Cliff Stoll. I read it out loud to him. It was fascinating (though the guy seemed to have a hard time finishing the book and just went on and on at the end).

That is so great! *whispers* So would this mean that you could get your own place? (Forgive me for being so nosey, but I've wondered how things have gone with your dad lately and this seems like such a fantastic opportunity for you guys!)

Actually we missed the guy he needs to talk to today, so we have to wait till Monday to find out anything GRRR. Anyway, yes we are hopeing to get this cause then we could make it on our own and all my dad has done since disney is hold it over us how he paid for it and blah blah blah. It's still a pain to live with him but we are almost debt free and we are getting closer and closer to being out on our own YAY!!!

YAY! That makes me so happy for you!! I'll be praying that he gets it!!

My mom has a tendency to pay for things and then bring them up later on as though I need to continually express my gratefulness...it frustrates me to NO END!
