We had school in the pool today. It was so fun! And Eli the crazy boy loved it!

Charlette, have you put up yours yet? I bet you will soon...

Sherrie, have you been in yours yet?

But doesn't school in the pool get the books all wet

Sounds fun! Our neighborhood pool opens Saturday, but I don't think it will be warm enough to swim. It's been in the 70s for about a week and is only going to be in the mid to low 80s the rest of the week.

Yep, ours is up. We traded up: a friend got a FREE 24-foot hard-sided above ground pool, so they gave us their 16' by 4' soft sided above ground pool (still a big blue monstrosity, but it's more fun to swim in!). It took a week to get the water right since we filled it with well water and then I used 10x the amount of algicide needed for the amount of water we have. And Jason reconditioned the pump and it leaked oil into our pool. I briefly thought of educating the kids on the dangers of oil spills but decided against it . So yesterday it was finally stabilized enough to swim in but it was c-c-c-c-cold!! I only made it about 10 minutes. I think I'm going to look into a solar blanket for it.

School in the pool sounds like tons of fun, though!!

Heather, I remember how cold it was in our apartment pool in Germantown. Seemed to take forever for the ground to reach the air temp there. Being from Florida I was super impatient!

Charlotte that pool sounds GREAT! That is so fun. Does Sara have your old one up by any chance?

School in the pool was fun, and the books were dry.

Yes, we have been in ours. I only got in to work on it, but the kids have been in it alot....even with the cool front. I don't know how they stood it.
They have a couple of friends coming over today to swim. I LOVE LOVE our new liner, and the water is so nice and blue . I'm so happy that summer is here!!

Well, could we buy it and leave it in your shed until we had a place for it? And how much do you want?

Sherrie, that is a YUMMY picture. I want to dive in.
