I would say that those words are at the 4th/5th grade level.

Reading level incorporates other things than just the actual words. It also looks at home many words are in a sentence, how many sentence are in a paragraph, etc. USing the reading level listed isn't really the best way to determine how hard of a read something is.

That's the story of the Swan Princess. When I was on Kid'Riffic we rode on a float for the day after Thanksgiving parade at the local mall and the man who was the voice of Prince Derek from the Swan Princess movie (which had either just come out or was about to come out) was on our float all dressed up like the Prince. He was so incredibly full of himself and several times said that the Macy's parade the previous day was so much better. Well, duh! Macy's parade vs. local mall parade. Of course the Macy's parade was better!

Anyway, back to the thread. It just reminded me of that experience and I get excited right now when I remember things because just in the last month, 5 years after Lyme Disease robbed me of them, I am getting my long term memories back!
