Darn! I hit a bolt in the ground with the mower (first time I ever mowed this yard... had no idea it was there) and now I have to replace the lawnmower blade before I can finish. Really, I'm crushed. I did all of the yard that is visible from the road, and as for the rest, well, I think the dandelions are pretty.

Well, too bad you have to replace the blade, but getting out of mowing doesn't sound bad at all.

The blade probably needed to be replaced even before I got hold of it so I don't feel too bad. The lawnmower came with the house (along with seven others that didn't work!) so I'm just lucky I did the bare minimum. They left behind a riding lawnmower, too, but DH didn't want me to use that until he has a chance to tune it up. Men and their toys... LOL!

Well, we have two acres of yard... That's a bit much to do with a push mower.

But I swear, I never thought we would own one!

Hey...I only have 1 acre and we have a riding lawn mower! It makes a difference and mowing doesn't seem like such a chore.
