DH drove past the house, I guess every window is boarded and the house is on a steap hill, like straight up the front yard and straight down backyard, not really what we want. That and my dad is all cranky again tonight When will this ever end for us Why can't we get ahead and have a decent normal life, what did I do to deserve this

I'm sorry things are going so crummy for you!

Would renting an apartment for awhile be an option? What about looking to buy a duplex or double? We own a really nice 3 bedroom double and our tenants rent pays for about 75% of the mortgage..it's a good solution for those who can't quite afford the single family home they'd like but don't want to rent.

Even if you had to be in a much smaller space it might be worth it to be out from under the thumb of your Dad.

Yeah, something has to break with you guys and your dad- that can't be a good thing for your kids or your marriage!

Is the yard completely unusable? B/c windows can be fixed if you take out a slightly bigger loan...

I'm sorry, too. We spent 12 years in one crappy housing arrangement after another before we were able to finally buy our home. Everything from a tiny house with the floor literally rotting away to last summer when the seven of us lived in a 550 sq. ft. trailer. God only says "no" to one prayer because He has something even better in mind. Hang in there!

I am so sorry. Would renting be out of the question. I am with the other girls...even a small apartment would be better than living with your dad in the situation you are in.

It will happen for you - keep faith.

Renting wouldn't work cause we couldn't afford a storage unit and we have tons of stuff and all my moms stuff and if there's anything I really don't want to do is leave all that alone with my dad, he'd give it all away DH just applied for a new job last night that starts at almost 40,000 that he could do so we are praying he has a chance of getting that ! I figure he will at least have a chance if he applies right ? Plus he should hear about the promo at his current work this week! Maybe, just maybe he'll luck out and get something .... The yard is litterally like on a hill / It's a hill up on the front and the back, may be a good winter yard lol, but no where good to play cause it angles right into the road

Hey, I'll be keeping you in my prayers too. I know that this is so hard for you, but God really, really does have a plan for you. I know that sounds trite, but it is so true!! (((((HUGS!))))))
