So miguel already gave up on the books. he acts so BORED when he reads but he is enthralled when you read to him and is mad if you don't point to the words while reading. So we had a conversation last night about going back over phonics and andavanced phonics again. We're going to read to him all the time and have him create lap books for each topic we do so he practice writing. We've desided to take a bunch of words and create games with them for reading and scrable for spelling.

We also plan to have him in a summer program this year.

I think that those sound like great ideas. He's so much more likely to learn if he's not bored!
